As part of the Shinsekai 100 Year Anniversary Festival, Kinnikuman has been named the official mascot of the famous Osaka neighborhood.  This distinction is a real honor for the franchise, as Osaka serves as the birthplace for both Yudetamago and the Kinnikuman series.

A short list of announced Kinnikuman Project tie-in events include:

• Nihonbashi Street festival in March
• 肉の日(Kinnikuman day) on Friday, June 29th
• Parade and Festival events throughout July
• Presentation ceremony with Yudetamago and the city mayor
• Exclusive merchandise galore!

7th official 肉の日!

The 7th official Kinnikuman Day/肉の日 takes place on 7/29 as part of the All Japan Kids Wrestling Federation National Championships held in Niigata, Japan.  Yudetamago and the Kinnikuman Franchise are the official sponsors for the event.

Yudetamago are big supports of the wrestling and MMA scenes, as well as many charitable efforts and causes dedicated to helping children.

The 6th official Kinnikuman Day takes place this month on Friday the 29th in Harajuku, Japan.  Friday the 29th is a bit of a word play in Japanese that cleverly works out to represent Kinniku day... The "kin" in kinyoubi/Friday, coupled with the "ni/2" and "ku/9," of the 29th = Kin-ni-ku ~

 

The theme this time around is "Burning Inner Strength." The message for Kinnikuman fans on this day is to look within to find the strength and courage needed to rebuild Japan and help the victims of the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami.

• Muscle Museum featuring 32 years of original Yudetamago artwork highlighting the evolution of Kinnikuman
• Original design pieces, clothing and artifacts inspired by the Kinnikuman universe
