Major thanks to Rampage for taking on this project for me.  Jon is a true Yudekkii, and I am a fan of his work as well.  Kinnikuman looks awesome, and I cannot wait to see him in person.  Rampage is crazy talented, and I look forward to doing future collaborations with him.

Kinnikuman Nisei Choujin Recruitment Collection

Anyone keeping up with the latest chapters of Nisei will notice a spot on the last page advertising the  キン肉マンⅡ世募集コレクション (Kinnikuman Nisei Choujin Recruitment Collection).  Each week Yudetamago has been featuring two new Choujin submitted by fans, re-drawn and Yude-ized by Nakai-sensei!

 Image Compliments of Yudetamago

What a cool idea to give dedicated fans a chance to submit an original Choujin for a possible appearance in an upcoming chapter of Nisei.

From what I can tell, you submit an original Choujin (drawing + super basic info), along with your personal info to:

Shueisha Weekly Playboy
Kinnikuman Nisei Choujin Boshuu  (キン肉マンⅡ世募集コレクション)
2-5-10 Hitotsubashi Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
101-8050 JAPAN

If you character is selected you will receive a Kinnikuman Nisei portrait, a neato T Shirt + a permanent place in Kinniku history!

As far as the disclaimer goes, it does say something along the lines of by submitting your drawing, you are releasing and relinquishing all claims and rights to the character, which will become property of Shueisha and Yudetamago etc.  I have no other advice or insights into this process other than what I have posted here... sorry.

While I am not sure if they are even accepting submissions from outside of Japan,  I thought I would share the latest member of the Nama Choujin family:

Gyu-Dome

I came up with the idea for making a Gyudon based Choujin as Kinnikuman is such a sucker for for the dish in the original series.  Big thanks to my buddy, Eric Nillia, for doing this killer drawing based on my Gyu-Dome Namakeshi design!

OMFG! Series 1

While I realize this is not Kinnikuman news, it does fall under my coverage of custom keshi type figures, so keep reading!

Image Compliments of October Toys

I also need to point out that the fine folks over at October Toys give a noted shout-out to M.U.S.C.L.E. (Kinkeshi) as one of the clear inspirations behind OMFG!  It also does not hurt that these figures are creepy cool, and that I am a big fan of October Toys' Z.O.M.B.I.E. line!

Nama King ~ Mad Collaboration

With the Mad Collaboration project now in full swing,  I finally decided to throw my hat in the ring with what I hope to be the first in a series of Namakeshi...

 生キング/Nama King

The concept behind Nama King is pretty simple.  I wanted to incorporate King the 100t and the idea behind 生肉/Nama Niku; raw passion and dedication to Kinnikuman and Niku Mania!

If my submission is welcomed into the Mad Collaboration fold, the readers of Nama Niku will be the first to know... and you of course will be the first Yudekkii with a chance to get your hands on one!

Knolvin ~ Image Compliments of Mad Joe

Last but not least, there was a big reveal from Mad Joe this past week when he showcased the first open invitation custom figure, Knoivin.  I believe he said the keshi was created by an artist going by the name of "Wolverine Burgers."  This is a very strong and crazy interesting design, somewhat reminiscent of the mushroom people in Matango.

Check out the most recent Mad Collaboration updates and video over @ Overkill Creations ~ 肉

Micro Sunshine Designed by Nama Niku!

These figures are made from a high quality UV resistant material, with Muscle Things really outdoing himself on the casting quality this time around.  Based on what I can tell, these colors choices look almost spot on to the ones used in the original M.U.S.C.L.E. line ~米

Custom Kinnikuman Diorama ~ かわいいキッスの巻!

かわいいキッスの巻!

I have never seen any Kinnikuman merchandise based on the early days of the Kinnikuman, so I decided to do a little kitbashing and create something myself.

There's nothing quite like a scene depicting the good old days of Kinnikuman with him popping a little garlic and going all giant Ultraman on evil gargantuan arse...
