Depending on how this trial period goes, we could see a full line of Kinnikuman products available to fans everywhere with a few simple clicks!

The current shirt posted goes for 4,200円 or $53.00 USD at the current exchange rate.  Throw in super fast EMS shipping, and the total $69.00 eBay BIN price is not bad at all.

Forget expensive third party shopping deputy sites.  This is the best way to avoid costly exchange rate conversion fees, exorbitant third party seller fees, and double ding shipping charges.

Breaking Kinnikuman News
The Shinsekai 100 Year Anniversary Kinnikuman Project!

Image Compliments of Yudetamago

As part of the Shinsekai 100 Year Anniversary Festival, Kinnikuman has been named the official mascot of the famous Osaka neighborhood.  This distinction is a real honor for the franchise, as Osaka serves as the birthplace for both Yudetamago and the Kinnikuman series.

A short list of announced Kinnikuman Project tie-in events include:

• Nihonbashi Street festival in March
• 肉の日(Kinnikuman day) on Friday, June 29th
• Parade and Festival events throughout July
• Presentation ceremony with Yudetamago and the city mayor
• Exclusive merchandise galore!

More to come soon!

Shimada-sensei with the Mayor of Osaka!

*Friday the 29th is a bit of a word play in Japanese that cleverly works out to represent "Kinniku day." The "kin" in kinyoubi/Friday, coupled with the "ni/2" and "ku/9," of the 29th end up forming Kin-ni-ku ~

Photo Contest Winners

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Nama Niku photo contest!  All the pics were beyond cool, and it was hard to narrow down the top spot...

Grand Prize - 友情パワー (Friendship Power)

 Submitted by @bokudes_kohama - Japan

I ended up going with this one because it perfectly depicts what Nama Niku is all about:  International friendship, and standing behind Kinnikuman.

A few of my other top picks:

 Yudekkii Pride

"Drink Milk! Your six arms will grow to be big and strong!"

Submitted by @jaktweet - USA

 Kinkeshi Beard

Submitted by @ridureyu - USA

I will be posting the rest of the pics soon.  I think you guys will really dig what people came up with!

* ユデッキー (Yudekkii) is the Japanese term used to describe hardcore Kinnikuman fans.  (Think Yudetamago + a play on similar fan terms like "Trekkie").

Kinnikuman "Original Green Mask ver."
Designed by Hamaguchi
The color scheme is a shout out to the first few Shonen Jump covers where Suguru was depicted wearing a funky green mask and pink tights.

Terryman "Puppy ver."

Designed by Arino (also of Game Center CX/Retro Game Master fame)

Tongue-in-cheek homage to the famous scene where Terryman saves a little dog from a speeding bullet train.

No details yet on price or production number.
